The Sling Doober™ is the long-awaited sling storage system for the rear of your rifle. Here at Tremis Dynamics, we have long said that the best storage method was masking tape. And that is the easiest method for stowage. However, for folks that train, they will run dozens of reps per training day where they will deploy that sling, requiring a lot of retaping. Ranger bands and the like are a great way to get shit caught up in your charging handle so we don't recommend them. (At all, ever)
The Dev Team has been trying different methods for about two years, trying to find a solution. Commercial products or custom, we tried a lot of methods. Finally, we landed on this plan. A laser cut sling hanger, attached with a user-replaceable shock cord to a custom-sewn doober-tab.
The hanger is wrapped on the sling at the apex of the slack when it's wrapped around the back of the stock. The hook can be attached to a number of locations, but we usually attach it to the same point the end of the sling is attached to.
The MOD 4
We omitted the custom polymer hanger and are using Onewrap™ which offers some distinct advantages. The sling does not need to be disassembled to attach, remove, or relocate the doober. It fits a wider selection of slings. All the way from 1" wide economy slings to 2" wide padded slings. Just cut off any excess material after you fit it to your sling. And all the hooks are now black instead of raw stainless like the MOD2. The Doober Tab is now made of Tegris™ instead of webbing. The hook is now bolted to the tab, removing one point of articulation which was originally requested by some users.
The Mod4 PGR
Parade Ground Ready. Perfect for your M1 Garand, an M1A, or even an AK. This is genuine bred and raised in the USA leather. Comes with brass eyelets and gold plated hooks. The Leather Doober tab was cut by Kentucky Leather Works. These are limited to 13 units and indivudually numbered.

Rifle Gear
If you have a rifle with a sling (which you ABSOLUTELY should have both) you need a Sling Doober. This solves the problem of having a floppy sling that can (and will) get caught on things at usually the most inconvenient times. the Doober keeps the sling close and slick to the rifle and is easy to deploy and get work done. Great concept and a very useful item.

Sling Doober
Looks simple, but that is all in its very well thought out design. Your rifle should have one too.
